What kind of gifts, if any do you give to the kids that leave your care?

I have given a doodle pad, and some books to kids. I usually like to get them some educational toys. But these kids I have right now when I close this Friday (wow all ready!) I will be giving them summer toys. A pail of sand toys and bucket, bubbles, and a beach ball. I also write a note to the parents telling them how much I enjoyed their kids.

I have only lost 2 kids and what I did for each of them was a CD of all the daycare pics, a card from all of the kids and a photo album with the leftover pics I never got around to usinf for my crafts...
